In 2017, the second iteration of Camp Solong was located on a nature reserve in the small town Ekenäs in Finland. The location allowed for a deeper immersion into the rhythm of the natural world without distractions. The 3-day camp session welcomed six adult campers for a new goodbye-oriented program run by the camp’s counselors and founders Fluffy and Baloo (Dafna Maimon & Ethan Hayes-Chute).
Alongside the summer camp installation, the solo-exhibition Camp Solong: Nonstop Sunset curated by Jonatan Habib-Enqvist functioned as an application center for interested campers and audiences throughout the summer and was located in Sinne Gallery, Helsinki.
